On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Jimi Hendrix Experience called 'Axis:Bold As Love' and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st MONO Pressing with its MEGA RARE INSERT!!!! THIS LP IS SIMPLY MASSIVELY RARE!!!!  IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO FIND A MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP AT ALL - BUT THIS ONE IS EVEN RARER AS IT IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL INSERT!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT - BUT THIS IS THE VERY EARLIEST POSSIBLE PRESSING WITH THE 'DOUBLE LOOP' CENTRE!!!!  OF COURSE - MOST PEOPLE READING THIS WILL WONDER WHAT A 'DOUBLE LOOP' CENTRE ACTUALLY IS....  WELL IF YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THE MATT LABELS - YOU WILL SEE TWO LOOPED RIDGES AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE.  ON LATER COPIES OF THIS LP THIS WAS CHANGED TO THE MORE COMMON 'SINGLE' RIDGE ON A MATT 'TEXTURED' LABEL, AND THEN LASTLY TO A 'SINGLE' RIDGE FLAT MATT LABEL.  THIS 'DOUBLE LOOPED' LABEL IS THE TYPE MOST OFTEN SEEN ON JIMI HENDRIXES 1ST LP 'ARE YOU EXPERIENCED' - BUT OF COURSE THAT LP WAS PRESSED MUCH EARLIER IN THE YEAR AND BY THE TIME THIS LP WAS RELEASED THE 'DOUBLE LOOPED' LABEL WAS VIRTUALLY DISCONTINUED AND NEARLY EVERY PRESSING OF THIS LP WAS EITHER MADE ON THE TEXTURED 'SINGLE' RIDGED LABEL, OR THE FLAT 'SINGLE' RIDGED LABEL.  IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO FIND A TEXTURED 'SINGLE' RIDGED LABEL ON THIS LP - BUT THIS IS THE 1ST MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP I HAVE EVER SEEN WITH THIS EARLIEST 'DOUBLE LOOP' LABEL!!!!  IN FACT - I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I DIDNT EVEN THINK IT EXISTED!!!!  NOW OF COURSE THIS MAY NOT MATTER TO SOME COLLECTORS - AFTER ALL ANY OF THE 2 SLIGHTLY LABEL TYPES WOULD HAVE BEEN PRESSED VERY SOON AFTER RELEASE DATE (EVEN THE TEXTURED LABEL IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO FIND) AND ARE STILL THEORETICALLY 1ST PRESSINGS - BUT WHAT THIS MEGA RARE 'DOUBLE LOOPED' LABEL DOES SHOW IS THAT THIS PARTICULAR LP WAS CLEARLY ONE OF THE VERY FIRST PRESSINGS MADE OF THIS LP AND YOU CANNOT GET EARLIER!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS MEGA RARE INSERT, GATEFOLD 'E.J.DAY' SLEEVE, AND VERY 1ST PRESSED RECORD AND IS REALLY TOUGH TO FIND!!!! This is the MUCH RARER original Track UK MONO 1st pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on very THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 612 003 on the Track label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Jimi Hendrix Experience at their best!!!! Any fan of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!! The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in brilliant condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few light TINY hairlines only visible under light and ALL non sounding, a couple of MEGA light scufflines and only VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS A VERY NICE 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps and NO crackle!!!!  When I played this LP through - background sound is at an absolute minimum and almost EVERY gap/run on groove is silent!!!! The only background sound I noticed was a slight touch on the quieter parts on 'Six By Nine', and the slightest touch at the beginning of Side 1!!!! Overall this LP really does play SUPERBLY and it is VERY tough to find a MONO 1st Pressing of this LP which plays this well!!!! The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner!!!!

The ALL IMPORTANT Mega Rare INSERT (see picture) is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  This is ORIGINAL insert with a glossy look and is in BRILLIANT condition with NO splits, NO rips, NO nasty heavy creases, NO pin holes, NO folds, NO tape marks (this insert has clearly NEVER been put up on a wall), NO rubbing, NO staining, NO writing and only some very typical slight 'ruffling'!!!! This is the GENIUNE insert with a thick glossy look. THIS INSERT IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!

The E.J.Day 1st Press Gatefold FLIPBACK Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, NO ringwear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases AT ALL (cover is still flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are perfectly straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO wear, NO Grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! There is also NO writing on the cover AT ALL!!!!  The only possible VERY slight downside to cover (though this is INCREDIBLY minor) is some VERY slight roughening, and VERY slight darkening to the spinal edge.  However this DOES NOT have ANY effect on the colour of the spine and there is NO wear through the colour AT ALL.  Clearly this record was in a vertically stored rack - and the spine was probably the part of the cover that was exposed.  However - it really is INCREDIBLY minor and in NO WAY does it affect the STUNNING look of the cover!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS IS A SIMPLY A MASSIVELY RARE LP AND VERY VERY HARD TO FIND WITH THE INSERT AND IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  MOST COPIES OF THIS LP WERE 'PLAYED TO DEATH'  - BUT THIS LP STILL PLAYS BRILLIANTLY AND LOOKS GREAT!!!!  AND OF COURSE IT STILL HAS ITS MASSIVELY RARE INSERT!!!!  DONT MISS THIS SUPERB OPPORTUNITY!!!!
