You are buying an Australian released 12" 33 & 1/3 rpm vinyl album by:-
JIMI HENDRIX titled "HENDRIX BAND OF GYPSYS".
Released in 1970 on POLYDOR RECORDS Australia.
Catalogue number 2406 002.
Track listing Side One is:-
1. "Who Knows" [Hendrix] 9:34 minutes.
2. "Machine Gun" [Hendrix] 12:38 minutes.
Track listing Side Two is:-
1. "Changes" [Miles] 5:11 minutes.
2. "Power Of Soul" [Hendrix] 6:55 minutes.
3. "Message Of Love" [Hendrix] 5:24 minutes.
4. "We Gotta Live Together" [Miles] 5:51 minutes.
RECORDED LIVE AT THE FILLMORE EAST NEW YORK, 1970.
BAND OF GYPSYS WERE JIMI HENDRIX, BUDDY MILES & BILLY COX.
THIS COPY OF THE JIMI HENDRIX BAND OF GYPSYS ALBUM IS HOUSED IN THE WITHDRAWN "PUPPET" SLEEVE. THE EARLIEST COPIES OF THIS ALBUM DEPICTED PUPPETS OF JIMI HENDRIX, BRIAN JONES, BOB DYLAN AND ENGLISH DJ JOHN PEEL. REPORTEDLY PEEL COMPLAINED AND THE COVER WAS WITHDRAWN AND REPLACED WITH A LIVE PHOTO OF HENDRIX.
THIS COPY WAS PURCHASED BY ME UPON RELEASE AND HAS BEEN IN MY COLLECTION EVER SINCE & UNTIL TODAY HASN'T BEEN PLAYED SINCE THE 1980'S.
Album cover is in excellent condition.
Vinyl album is in M- condition.
Labels are nice and clean, black lettering on a red background.
