Another rare piece of rock history!. Original 1970 UK 1st PRESSING, PUPPET cover with early 1st PRESS 1 1 stampers and both labels misspell as 'GIPSIES'!. THIS IS THE RARE PUPPET SLEEVE WITH FIGURES OF JIMI HENDRIX, BRYAN JONES, BOB DYLAN AND JOHN PEEL AND was quickly RETIRED AND REPLACED FOR THE IOW COVER. Rumours saying that this was mostly due to the fact that the back sleeve shows a right handed Jimi Hendrix puppet!.
The vinyl is visually graded in near mint minus condition. Before bidding please understand the condition of this grading and read the description of grades below provided.
The sleeve is in very good condition with a sticker mark in the front and corner and edge wear. The back is in excellent condition.
The black track labels with the misspelt GIPSIES are in excellent condition.
The spine is in excellent condition and fully readable with corner wear.
The original inner with British Patent - Boxed "Plastic Bags can be dangerous ..." and Made in England is in excellent condition.

Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage
Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible
Near Mint
Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.
Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve
Excellent
Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.
Disc- The record has been played and will have some superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.
Very good
Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.
Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.
Good
Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.
Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler
I am not a dealer but an amateur collector selling duplicated items or records that I no longer want to keep (mostly due to space). I do not clean records (other than a dust with anti-static) and unless indicated in the listing the records have been only visually inspected.

Please note that, whilst it is comparatively rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post , my part of the transaction contract is legally completed as soon as the item is in the hands of the Post Office. I will not, therefore, accept responsibility for any loss or damage by the Postal Services. Whilst I am happy to provide help and advice, all such claims remain the responsibility of and must be made by the buyer.
If the bidding exceeds £46 in the UK the item will be ONLY sent insured by special recorded next day guaranteed delivery post (insured up to a value of £500) at a cost of £7. The above P&P quoted is for UK only and the same principal on insurance will apply to international bidders who will need to pay £5.7 insurance in addition to the p&p.
