  Jimi Hendrix – Band of Gypsys
James Marshall Hendrix (born Johnny Allen Hendrix; November 27, 1942 - September 18, 1970) was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is widely considered to be the greatest guitarist in the history of rock music by other musicians and commentators in the industry, and one of the most important and influential musicians of his era across a range of genres.
This is the rare "Puppet cover" first press copy! It does have quite a few noticeable scrape/scuff/scratch marks and plays with clicks and pops (worst on side one track one) and background crackle throughout most of the record! Apart from the first track on side one it ’s still a good listen! Would make a good collection filler for someone!

The album is on Track Records, 2406 002. Matrix side one: 2406002 A∇1 (stamped). Matrix side two: 2406002 B=1 (stamped).

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: fair (has quite a few scrape/scuff/scratch marks which do cause crackle/clicks/pops throughout which is worst on the first track, plays with no jumps or sticks).
Vinyl side 2: good (has quite a few noticeable marks and plays with some clicks/pops and a bit of backround crackle here and there but nothing that really spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still a great listen, plays with no jumps or skips).
Cover (unlaminated): very good (light edge wear, discolouring mainly at spine edge, a few light creases, but no splits or tears!).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
