Description

Nice copy of the original 1970 first pressing of Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys LP on Capitol STAO-472. Original green labels and gatefold cover, and the original Robert Ludwig master, which many people say is the best sounding pressing. The disc has some scuffing and light marks, especially on side one. Side one plays with a bit of background crackle in quieter parts, but not too bad. When the band is really playing you don’t hear any issues at all. The second side is much better. Really it is quite an enjoyable and mostly great-sounding copy. The cover has only a bit of corner rubbing and light edgewear. This is a nice original copy that is quite enjoyable.
