I am selling a cherished jacket I was given by Mitch Mitchell at the Marquee Club, Wardour Street, London in 1967

As a regular at the Marquee from 1965 - 1969, whilst studying at London University and I was priveleged to meet the groups playing there.

I was lucky enough to meet Jimi, Mitch and Noel there 3 times. It was a true Jimi Hendrix Experience!

Jimi arrived in England in 1967 and played his first gigs often at the Marquee.

Whilst chatting with Mitch, after a gig, I said that's a great jacket...he told me he bought it in Carnaby Street, just round the corner.
Then he spilled some coca-cola on it, and said, here it's yours.

I was thrilled and have kept it safely over 50 years, for obvious sentimental reasons.

I understand the jacket brand Scott Lester is also very collectable.

The jacket is medium size, with a psychedelic blue, gold and black pattern.
It has a white synthetic fur trimming and a100% Rayon label inside.

I have never had it dry-cleaned, to preserve the coca-cola stain, (see my pic).. but it is still in great condition and smells fresh.
