HARDLY SEEN UK FIRST PRESSING 1968 ORIGINAL WITH FULLY LAMINATED, BLUE TEXT GATEFOLD SLEEVE.
Released in 1968 this original first issue UK stereo two LP set is on the Black with Silver Printed Text Track Record labels.
First issues of this rare album came with a fully laminated gate-fold picture sleeve with Blue Printed Text and with larger Photographs in the centre gate-fold. Second issues of this album had white text and smaller photographs in the centre gate-fold.
All four record labels are in beautiful Mint Minus condition, super clean, undamaged, unworn, unfaded record labels, with only a couple of light signs of play around the centre spindle holes on each record label. Both discs have not been played very much at all. The record label order on this set are as follows, LP 1 sides A and D, LP 2 sides B and C.
Disc 1, Side A matrix 613008A #1 & Side D 613008B #1.
Disc 2, Side B matrix 613009A#1 & Side C 613009B# 1.
All four sides of the vinyl LPs are in beautiful Mint Minus condition, super, super clean unmarked well cared for vinyl surfaces to all four sides, just beautiful, all that is visible under strong lighting are a couple of insignificant mild surface hairlines, there are absolutely no scratches or marks on either side.
Both LPs play with beautiful sound quality throughout all tracks.
Each LP come in their original Danger of Suffocation, Made in England polythene lined record bags, and are housed in their original fully laminated Gatefold Sleeve, this sleeve is the first issue which features the **BLUE** Printed Text and Larger images in the centre of the sleeve.
This first issue Gatefold Sleeve is in very nice undamaged Excellent to Excellent Plus condition. The sleeve is fully laminated and shows a few light manufacturing laminate pinches to the front, reverse and centre. All edges are free from splits, and just mild corner bumps, the bottom edge of the sleeve shows mild shelf wear rub marks. The inner gatefold centre of the sleeve is undamaged and in Excellent Plus condition and features the Blue Printed Text, and large Photographs.
