WITH THE BLUE TEXT
This is the 1st UK pressing of Electric Ladyland with the fully laminated 'nude' Ernest J Day gatefold cover.
It has the blue text inside the gatefold and the larger photos of Noel Redding & Mitch Mitchell.
It has the inverted matrix numbers on the labels. The 4 sides are labelled A/D (Sides 1 & 4 on disc 1) & B/C (Sides 2 & 3 on disc 2) - only first pressings had these characteristics.
Cover: Excellent for its age - nearly 40 years old!. This has the ultra rare blue text on the inner gatefold. Minor laminate creasing in places and some minor wear along the some of the edges and a little bumping to the corners.
Inner Sleeves: Original poly-lined inner sleeves with 'Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous' text in Excellent condition.
Vinyl: Varies between Good+ and very good+. Some scratches. Not played for many years and would improve with a good clean. Side C has a nasty scratch on the last track. Expect crackle/hiss and maybe the occasional skip.
Labels: The 1st pressing labels are very good. No writing or doodles. 1st pressing matrix numbers A1 & B1 + A1 & B1

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
