THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - ELECTRIC LADYLAND - 1968 - Original Polydor UK - 2LP Fully Laminated Sleeve - Stereo. Cat No. "2657 012 DELUXE DOUBLE". As intended, Record 1 is Side A and Side D. Record 2 is Side B and Side C The only date on the records or sleeve is 1968 but probably the very early 1970's pressing. Fully laminated (inside and out) sleeve. Hendrix portrait on the left when you open the gatefold. Later pressings did not have the laminated sleeve. Matrix numbers:  Side A: 2310269 A 613008 A//2 ? 420  11   9. Side D: 2310269 B 613008 B//10  11  6. Side B: 2310270 A 613009 A ? 2 420  11  11. Side C: 2310270 B 613009 B//2 ? 420  12  6. ("2310269/70" is handwritten and barely visible. Rest is stamped.)
CONDITION (Please zoom in on the photos to have a more complete idea of condition):
Record 1:   VG+ (Some very light hairlines, light sleeve removal marks. No feelable marks, nothing that affects play. Plays EX, sits flat on turntable. Play tested - Superb sound) Record 2:  VG+ (Some very light hairlines, light sleeve removal marks. Side B has one long, more visible, hairline but no feelable marks, nothing that affects play. Plays EX, sits flat on turntable. Play tested - Superb sound) Gatefold Cover: VG+ (A nice copy of this fully laminated version with some minor creases and marks and light ringwear. Light score marks bottom centre of front sleeve (See photo 1). Some fraying at front opening edge. Spine nice and square with virtually no loss of laminate. Inside of gatefold very nice, more EX) Inner sleeves: VG+ (generic white paper sleeves as issued)

Records are graded under a bright halogen lamp. As most serious record collectors know, this shows every detail, better even than natural sunlight, so rest assured that records will not be over-graded. Where any doubt exists, records are play tested with a high quality turntable/cartridge.
All items are from an extensive private collection (in a non-smoking home). I have been collecting records for over 50 years and go by the "Record Collector" grading system. As I need to "thin out" my collection, I will be listing a lot of very rare and collectible records in the coming weeks / months so check back regularly. All have been extremely well looked after and played infrequently on a high quality turntable. Covers have been protected in 400g polythene sleeves (and will be shipped in one).
I will always attempt to mention any defects. However please look at the photographs carefully to have a clearer idea of the record's condition. Returns will only be accepted in the unlikely event that the item is not as described. Will be carefully packaged in high quality "cruciform" custom mailers and marked "Fragile - Please Do Not Bend". Records and inner sleeves will be packed outside the main cover to avoid damage in transit.
I sometimes re-use quality packaging materials to reduce costs and help the environment.
Buy more than one item and save with combined postage. However, in this case, please wait for a combined invoice before making payment. Two or three records can usually post for the same cost as one. Please note: I will not profit on postage costs and do not add charges for packaging.
