Catalogue number is 613008/9
Matrix numbers that are stamped and written on the groove are as follows on side A 61300 then 8 9 scratched through then A//1 then on side D (which is strangely the flip side of A) it reads 61300 then a 9 scratched through an then a hand written 8 then  B//1

Then on side B it reads:~  61300 then 8 scratched through then hand written 9A then scratched through B // 1 on side C it has hand written 613009 B then scratched through are the numbers 6130098A then there is //1

This is a MASSIVELY RARE 1968 earliest uk stereo 1st pressing on the TRACK record label with a fully laminated E J Day Ltd, gatefold sleeve with 1st issue 'BLUE TEXT' and all the important LARGER pictures of Mitch Mitchell & Noal Redding. The RAREST POSSIBLE 1st PRESSING of this seminal recording

There are four things to note about the first pressings
1, They were pressed on thicker vinyl than later ones. 2, All four sides have matrix numbers ending with number 1. These are found on the run out grooves on each side. 3, On 1st issues the bracketed catalogue numbers  with a letter on the left hand side of the label are printed upside down. 4, On 1st issues there is no set number printed below the stereo logos on the right hand side of the label as there is on later pressings

The E J Day Ltd Sleeve The Iconic naked ladies sleeve banned in the US and reputedly not liked by Hendrix much either, is the VERY RARE early limited printing with BLUE TEXT and much larger pictures of Mitch Mitchell & Noal Redding. Subsequent  print runs, even of 1st issue records had white text and much smaller pictures. Compare the blue text sleeve with the white text sleeve and you will immediately see what i mean. 
Condition - (Cover) good, some edge scuffing. (Record) looks very good, a few marks but plays fine.

Tested and plays great.

Side B 1, Little miss strange 2, Long hot summer night 3, Come on 4, Gypsy eyes 5, Burning of the midlight lamp

Side C 1, Rainy day, dream away
2, 1983 ( a merman i should turn to be ) 3, Moon turn the tides... gently gently away

Side D 1, Still raining, still dreaming
2, House burning down 3, All along the watchtower 4, Voodoo chile ( slight return )

All in all a fantastic addition to any serious vinyl collection and a true BLUE edition of this much sought after HOLY GRAIL of Hendrix albums. A real collectors item. Don't let this one pass you by
