Original UK STEREO DOUBLE LP, release date 1968 on the TRACK label.
Catalogue number: 613008/9
Matrix Nos: 613008 A//1, B//1 and 613009 A//1, A//1 - THE FIRST PRESS!!!
The cover is in great condition with the original naked ladies photo across the whole outside of the gatefold sleeve. Fully laminated, it is still very shiny and clean. There are a few minor laminate creases, and they don't detract from the overall condition. The open edge has very minor wear, but the other edges are perfect, with no wear, just very minor rubbing at the corners. The spine is strong and sharp. Inside, the gatefold sleeve is stunning!!! It features the text "Printed and made by Ernest J Day & Co, London", showing it to be an original from 1968. Amazing condition for a 37 year old cover, and grades a strong EX
The two black and silver TRACK labels are bright, clean and crisp with light spindle marks on each side. They feature the very rare "inverted matrix" numbers, where the catalogue numbers are also printed upside down. This was only done on the original 1968 pressings.
The vinyls are both very bright and glossy - they look fantastic with a very lusterous appearance! They are very heavy, thick records. There a some surface marks and a few light surface scratches on each side - not bad at all, and they do not interfere with the audio. The sound is great and plays very well all the way through with no bad clicks, pops or surface noise! Just very occasional surface noise is apparent. Fantastic condition for this rare 37 year old record and grades VG++/VG+
I have listened to this the whole way through to ensure an acurate description - aurally i would grade this as a strong EX
Condition of cover/record1/record2 : EX / VG++ / VG+ (Grading as used by Record Collector)
