Condition of cover/record1/record2 : EX / EX+ / EX+ (Grading as used by Record Collector)

The cover is in great condition with the original naked ladies photo across the whole outside of the gatefold sleeve. Fully laminated, it is still very shiny and looks fantastic!!! There are a few minor laminate creases and a feint hint of ringwear, but they don't detract from the overall condition. The open edge has very minor wear, but the other edges are perfect, with no wear, and the spine is strong and sharp. There is minor rubbing at the corners. Inside, the gatefold sleeve is stunning!!! It has the white text under the photos and features the text "Printed and made by Ernest J Day & Co, London." Amazing condition for a 37 year old cover, and grades a strong EX

The inner sleeve are the original plain white ones and are in great condition.

The two black and silver TRACK labels are bright, clean and crisp with NO spindle marks. They feature the very rare "inverted matrix" numbers, where the catalogue numbers are also printed upside down. This was only done on the original 1968 pressings. Superb and NEAR MINT!

 The vinyls are simply stunning!!! They are both very bright and glossy - they look new! There are one or two very light surface marks which prevent me from grading them MINT MINUS, and they do not interfere in any way. The audio is amazing and plays like new. It really seems that this was only played a couple of times, which is so rare with this classic record. STRONG EX+/NM

I have listened to this the whole way through to ensure an acurate description - aurally i would grade this as NEAR MINT!

As I say in the description, the cover has white text inside. Both versions (white text and blue text) were released in 1968.

As far as I am aware, the blue text version was made at around the same time, but is often found with later vinyls inside (later stamper codes.)

This is the first original pressing and the vinyl has the A1 and B1 matrix on all 4 sides, and has the inverted catalogue number on the labels which was only done with the first press.

The later pressings DID NOT have the inverted catalogue numbers on the labels, and they had a "SET NUMBER" on the labels - this copy does not, and is therefore the first pressing.

They both feature the white text, but they are both later pressings than this one I am selling - they do not have the inverted catalogue numbers and they have A2 B2 stampers - you can ALWAYS tell with the stamper codes!
