JIMI HENDRIX ELECTRIC LADYLAND ORIGINAL 1968 UK TRACK DOUBLE LP 613008 / 09

Please note that this album is complete and original 1st UK pressing and is priced for its rarity and attraction to collectors
Vinyls are "Excellent+/N Mint Condition "
this has fantastic clear audio!

Superb collectable copy, solid and flat heavy vinyl no warps. Terrific clear audio no distortion, skips or jumps on play back, would grade vinyls as Excellent+ to Near Mint (some small light hairline marks and removal scuffs which don't affect playback) not much static detecteď even in quieter passages, the "acid test" of the intro to "And the Gods Made Love" and the start to "Rainy Day" are very very clean amazing audio from this 52 year old.
There is some minor occasional poping noise in two or three places on high volume which may improve with a professional clean but hardly noticeable, this really is a superb copy very rare to find these days in such stunning condition.

Original inner sleeves with only some ageing and minor creases - No graffiti or splits, very nice. Both vinyls supplied with additional polythene anti static vinyl protection sleeves.

Great vivid labels Near Mint. Lovely rich matt black colour with silver track text and only limited spindle lines on all four sides, lovely.

Jimi on its launch said " I made this album with Stereo in mind" so listen..

Tracks include , Electric Ladyland, Crosstown Traffic, Gipsy Eyes, Voodoo Chile (extended original version and slight return) Long Hot Summer Night...Rainyday women, Come on...
most;y recorded in Electric Lady studios in Greenwich Village New York in 68 Jimmy was living and playing there every day and the music here is some of his best work ...

as Jimi said at the time "i made this album with "stereo" in mind , "

great colors to describe the sky .....

The "Electric Ladyland" Album on original track labels 1st pressings ... this record sounds so good and clear, no problems to report.

this is the original 1968 first press Matrixes on UK Track records.

At over 50 years old this is in way better shape than most that you will find of similar age, usually albums of this age are worn, ripped and played to death but not this one you won't find many in such condition as this one see photos.

Pictures in the listing are of the item for sale " what you see is what you get here"

The "Ladies" cover

A Very Rare Fully Laminated Original E J Day Sleeve in Excellent+ Condition amazing cover for it's age.
Square spine still remains perfectly rigid and intact (Superb).
Light laminate creasing on the front and rear of the sleeve just near to the opening, minor sign of ringwear to the top end only of the front otherwise really nice and clear. Overall great laminate condition see photos. No writing or graffiti names etc in great shape for 52 years! kept safe in its pvc sleeve for many years. The inside laminate remains very clean and shiny with only slight creasing to the opening ends but no writing, rips, tears or worrying faults. Even the middle seam remains free from  peeling and blistering often found on copies of this age, truly Superb.

The records
label with A side D on disc NO ERROR!
Label B and C is labeled together normal

NOTE you get many reports of "hey Ive got a rare press A and D..." (this is Normal )  like this one.

A1 B2 and A2 B2 "Hand Etched and corrected 8"  the matrix which isn't on later copies to my knowledge or have seen...

This is very early in the run in i would expect if i was a betting man...

Plays fantastic with bright clear sound no distortion, an amazing clear bass and Jimi.'s guitar is just sublime with headphones, you can even quite clearly hear some woman in the studio complaining about the bar being closed when Jimi  announces there's no drinks left at the end of side one. Some background static is noticeable but only very occasionally and only at high volume. In the quieter passages not much background noise or distortion at all to disrupt playing.

any questions please ask!
