Released on the Track Record Label, number 613008 / 9 in 1968 in Stereo.

Every album is given a thorough visual inspection and play graded using the Record Collectors Grading System.

The front cover and at least one label are photographed at an angle to show any ring or corner wear or spindle marks and I am always happy to answer any questions or provide further information or photographs. Any faults are always listed!

Description:

Cover: Gatefold, laminated on the front, inside and rear. Printed by EJ Day Ltd. This is the third cover for this album. The first had all blue text on the inside and the second had a mixture of blue and white text. Both of these covers had the larger photos of Mitch and Noel. This cover has all white text and smaller photos of Mitch and Noel on the inside. These fully laminated covers were very difficult to keep in mint condition. The laminate nearly always bubbled or creased, the spines were very fragile and the covers were very prone to ring wear due to the thickness of the records.

Front: Laminate is still intact: with a few creases and some ring wear and evidence of corner scuffing. Remains of a sticker.

Overall in very good condition.

Inside: Laminate is still very strong with some creasing and remains of a sticker. Spine is still laminated and very strong.

Overall in very good condition

Rear: Laminate is still very strong, with evidence of some creasing and some ring wear.

Overall in very good condition.

Opening edges: Some areas of feathering.

Overall in very good to excellent condition.

Spine: Scuffed but still strong.

Overall in good condition.

Sleeves: The original sleeves have long been lost, so new white polyliner paper sleeves will be provided.

Overall in mint condition.

Labels: The records were labelled A/D and B/C and were designed to be stacked and played in the order of Record 1 A side followed by Record 2 B side, etc. There are the remains of a piece of rubber sticker on one side of each record. This was stuck to the labels originally to protect the vinyl surfaces from scuffing and also stopped the records from slipping when stacked on the turntable.

The Track labels are still very clean and show evidence of spindle wear.

The track listings show signs of letter misalignment. This fault, if found would have resulted in the record being rejected, but due to high demand, the manufacturers let this one pass.

Overall in very good to excellent condition.

Vinyls: All four sides play through without any skips and play with great clarity. Some occasional surface and background crackles. Very clean surfaces, glossy with some surface scratches (see above, ref the labels)

One of the very first produced Electric Ladyland. The matrix numbers have been incorrectly written or stamped and have been changed to the correct numbers.

Overall in excellent condition.

Record Collector Grading Criteria:

Mint:

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent:

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good:

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good:

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
