A1B2 with inverted triangle matrix.

Earliest only feature the BLUE TEXT on inner of gatefold sleeve by Dave King.

Inner gatefold has the larger sepia pictures of Mitch and Noel!

Wr are told this text was withdrawn due to errors during the printing stage and also that the blue text did not take well on the black surface.

If you look closely the blue text is out of line and a shadow of previous incorrect text have been over printed, you can just make out the original printed text which was typed out incorrectly with the track listings for each side incorrect they tried to correct this with the blue text but it never really worked, (later issues most commonly seen had white text on the inside and have none of these errors! )

Very hard to find now in good order, the sleeve is almost 58 and the inner spine area has been folded outwards so its showing wear and spilt inside, its been handled andvrecord removal over years opening side shows wear, the outer spine is pretty solid see pictures.

The opening side front lower has given way due to age, the price reflects this, no other serious issues as we never store the vinyls in the rare sleeve, these are kept in separate quality pvc lined inners.

Nice vinyls.

Printed by E.day & co, England. super glossy appearance with rubbing wear with age from its 57 years.

This is from my own collection I am not a dealer, over the next few months I am selling of part of my collection all rarities and collectible no filler!

(pvc cover vault stored many years)

this copy has the rare `ghost text` in blue with the withdrawn tracklisting showing underneath , look close you can see its a super rare copy in good order.

One of our `Vault Stored` Copies Please note that this album is complete and original 1st UK pressing and is priced for its rarity and attraction to collectors "NR Excellent" condition this has great audio! Great copy, clear audio no skips or jumps on our Rega 3, would grade as Near Excellent condition , here is a nice copy ( some light lines hairline scratches and removal scuffs which don't affect playback badly) some static in quieter passages which may improve with a professional clean.

Jimi on its launch said " I made this album with Stereo in mind" so listen.. Tracks include ,

Electric Ladyland, Crosstown Traffic, Gipsy Eyes, Voodoo Chile (extended original version and slight return)

Long Hot Summer Night...Rainyday women,

Come on... most;y recorded in Electric Lady studios in Greenwich Village New York in 68.

Jimmy was living and playing there every day and the music here is some of his best work ...with only a few tracks brought over from Olympic studios London.

Jimi said at the time "i made this album with "stereo" in mind , " great colors to describe the sky ..."

The double album NORMALLY sells now with "Blue Text" for around £400+ in VGC condition, this is way better and real keeper, sleeve near ex vinyls are near ex. there are some light trails on the vinyls , audio is near excellent.

Has the original *inverted triangle matrix* only on the 1st issues..

A great buy FOR UNDER 400 GBP.

A Ghost text copy in great shape.

The "Electric Ladyland" Album on original track labels 1st pressings at a great price ... this record sounds so good and clear, no problems to report. this is the original 1968 first press matrixes on UK Track records.

The famous "Ladies" cover Very good condition plus, has the larger sepia photos of Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchel which only the `Ghost Blue Text` copies have.

Its reported this text was withdrawn due to errors during the printing stage and also that the blue text did not take well on the black surface.

If you look closely the blue text is out of line and a shadow of previous incorrect text have been over printed, you can just make out the original printed text which was typed out incorrectly with the track listings in different order for each side incorrect they tried to correct this with the blue text but it never really worked and was swiftly withdrawn in first few weeks of issue.

Only some laminate creasing of the sleeve, look at the laminate condition in photos.

Near Ex,no writing, names, stickers or tape , in good shape for 57 years!

kept safe in its pvc sleeve for many years , its not perfect as this has been handled and is 57.

The opening record sides have started to show their age Blue Ghost text inside in near ex shape.

The inner gatefold pics and inside laminate clean , inner spine shows wear from folding flat for wall mouting at sometime in its life, vault stored vinyls over 20 years .

solid outer spine no issues see photos.

The records Label with side A AND C on ONE disc NO ERROR! Label B and C is labeled, this was normal to explain these were made for old style auto changers so you could play side A then drop side B, then then turn both over drop side C then D etc....(perish the thought!) but yes they did!

NOTE we see many reports of "hey Ive got a rare press A and D..." (this is normal )

Near Excellent A1 B2 and A2 B2 "hand etched and corrected" with inverted triangle.

This is very early in the run and great audio playback. here is no other writing on labels`

Near Ex Condition, great labels slight spindle marks plays clean, some light surface lines with some hairline scratches and small removal scuffs no issues on our Rega 3 or the super fussy light tracking Kenwood deck we use to grade, a few pops and clicks in quiter parts but nothing to disrupt pleasure of this great recording (we have not cleaned as this is a personal thing) this is a first press in good order! no writing stickers or names on labels.

Visibly the vinyls look near to ex , nothing serious and no evidence of being overplayed see label pics.

Plays fantastic with bright clear sound and amazing bass, may benefit from a professional clean (we don't do this as it's an individual thing) some background static is noticeable in the quieter passages but nothing to disrupt playing no sticks or jumps on our Rega 3. any questions please ask!
