Description
The Jimi Hendrix Experience---"Electric Ladyland"---Original UK 1st Press Stereo Double Album In VG Condition On The Track Label---A-1, B-1, A-1, B-1 From 1968---WIth The Ultra Rare 1st Blue Text Sleeve
This is a UK pressing from 1968 in stereo on the Track label, cat. no. 613008/9 with matrices A-1, B-1, A-1 and B-1.
Vinyl: VG. The vinyl is in pretty good condition with a great shine but with quite a lot of hairlines and small marks. It looks nice, though, and even though it has seen a lot of play, it goes all the way through with no skips or jumps. It has some heavy surface noise which does get well covered in much of the loud parts. This is due from having been well played over the last 50 years!. There is a little ticking in a few places but this one is well listenable.
Labels: EX. Labels are in really nice condition with no markings. There is not particularly heavy spindle wear, considering the use it has had.
Sleeve: VG. The gatefold sleeve is in solid condition with fairly heavy edge and corner wear. The laminate is still nice and the rarity of this one is that it has the 1st blue text inside the gatefold making it one of the very first.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
Many thanks for looking at this and our other vinyl to be auctioned.
Please note that all records we sell are listened to in their entirety and are graded generously according to Record Collector guidelines. None of the vinyl has jumps or skips unless advised in the description.
We can send by insured post if required--please check for price.
