*this item has been relisted. previous buyer did not agree to return policy so transaction has been cancelled resubmitted for auction* Up for sale is the extremely rare original Track Records double LP 1968 UK release of Jimi Hendrix' Electric Ladyland. Catalog number: 613008/9. This is one of the subsequent releases of the 1st pressing, erroneously referred to as a 2nd pressing due to the white lettering, which is not entirely accurate. As you can see in the picture, this is the white letter version, with Hendrix' portrait on the right side of the gatefold. However contrary to popular belief, this version is categorized as being third of the 3 known variants of the first pressing (all 3 variants were done in production prior to the official release. [Version 1:  Jimi on the right w/ blue letters, Version 2:  Jimi on the left w/ blue letters, and Version 3:  Jimi on the right w/ white letters]. That being said, all other requisites of the first pressing are evident on this copy. The label includes the inverted catalog no. in parenthesis above the listed catalog number (see photo). This copy was also pressed using auto-coupling configuration (disc 1: A/D side, and disc 2: B/C side), which is also the reason (due to this anomaly) that the matrices on the run-outs were altered by hand during production, where the last digit has been etched out and corrected (see photo). These are all features only found on the original first pressings of this record. Cover is graded at VG++ (one notch below NM), for minor shelf wear on the lower right corner, and minimal ring wear on front. Everything else is clean with no split seams, no air bubbles or loose lamination, and no damage or creases to the spine. The cover amazingly still maintains it's original shine and luster. Discs are graded at VG/ VG+, for a few inaudible yet slightly visible sleeve scuffs and a few hairline marks here and there, resulting from regular use and storage through the years, none of which affect the play of the record. For the most part, this record has no major flaws or imperfections, and is really in excellent shape. The record has been kept in great care over the years, considering that it is now over 40 years old!! I accept returns for defective merchandise, only on the condition that the record is returned to me in the EXACT same condition as it was when sent. Otherwise, it will be returned to sender.
