Although I collect and deal in records as part of a wider stock, I don't often put them on ebay, and so don't pretend the high tech expertise of the full time dealers. My grading is done visually for the most part, although I do play some through on adequate, but basic, equipment that serves for the shop. I describe the records as I see them, with the intention of telling you all you need to know, and I aim to be as honest and accurate as possible, without any technical jargon or 'professional' gradings - which are all subjective anyway. If you bid on one of my records you should know exactly what you're getting.

This 48 year old record is in a very clean and sound gatefold laminated sleeve. It is bright and clean; flat and square, with no obvious wear on the inner hinge. The laminate has a high gloss sheen with a little creasing and bubbling, but nothing serious. The spine is unworn, but the corners are a little bumped. The vinyl itself is glossy black, and under a strong light shows shows few marks or imperfections, with just the odd barely noticeable faint line or scuff. I have played it through, and it plays perfectly on my admittedly low end equipment, and I could see no indication on the vinyl itself that it wouldn't be the same with a more sophisticated sound system.
The labels are bright and clean as in the photos, with minor spindle wear.
An excellent example of this 1st issue classic.
