AXIS, BOLD AS LOVE
1967 UK Track MONO + original 2 page folded pic / lyric insert. This is the A1 & B1 earliest 1st UK MONO pressing. There are always a few original UK A1 B1 1st pressings on eBay, but, definitely not in such superb condition as this copy on offer here. A really excellent clean looking & playing copy. A excellent gatefold sleeve & insert to match.
VINYL RECORD
Here is a beautiful EX+ original UK earliest first MONO pressing of 'AXIS'. The record sits completely flat on the turntable. This vinyl album looks to have been very well looked after, & looks like it hasn't seen that much play at all. Both sides have a really excellent clean glossy sheen. There are absolutely NO bad surface marks, scuffs, or scratches to cause playback issues. And so all tracks play & sound fantastic throughout. No bad surface marks at all, & so there are no annoying loud or repeated clicks or pops, & no annoying background crackle. Both sides play & sound just about as good as you are gonna find for a vintage vinyl album that is now almost 60 years old. It really would be very difficult to find a better playing / sounding original first MONO pressing than this.
GARROD & LOFTHOUSE GATEFOLD SLEEVE = EX
The front & back lamination is still extremely clean, bright & glossy, looks superb, still really fresh. This gatefold cover has no edge or spine wear. The inside panels with top & bottom flip-backs, are also in top condition. No damage, marks, or wear, still looks as good as new. The only real minor issue with this superb cover, is that, when folded shut, the front and back covers do not sit exactly flush along the opening & back edge (please see second picture). It's just a little bit out of square. Not a big issue at all, but needs a mention. This gatefold sleeve still looks in fantastic shape, even with the one minor flaw.
ORIGINAL 2 PAGE FOLDED LYRIC INSERT
This is the original 2 page orange lyric insert, & this is still in very nice condition. Clean front & back, no marks, rips or splits at all. It just has a couple of creases, one at the top centre at the fold, & another at the very right edge, nothing bad at all, still looks in really great shape. These inserts usually turn up in far worse condition than this one.
The poly-lined inner sleeve is in excellent clean condition, no marks, rips, or splits. The vinyl will be placed inside a separate ant-static inner sleeve.
I pack my records very well. I always remove the vinyl & inner sleeve from the outer cover. The Item will reach you In the same condition as advertised & pictured.
