Description
This is the first U.S. stereo pressing of 'The Jimi Hendrix Experience Are You Experienced' produced in 1967. This is the RS 6261 TRI COLOR LABEL. The record is VG+ with a few light hairlines and storage press marks, one small mark on B side. Labels are VG++. The sleeve is VG+ with minor wear at right edge and bottom right corner, small ding at bottom left corner of back, mild discoloration at left edge of back, shrink is intact and has a tear at bottom right and a small tear at top right. Original US stereo issue with Tri-color Reprise label. (Also issued in mono). The original print inner sleeve with adverts for other Reprise record releases G+. Title on front cover 'Are you experienced' while title on back cover is 'Are You Experienced?' Cat. # on spine, cover, and labels: RS 6261 while cat # on FRONT cover just 6261. Back cover says 'A Yameta Production' and 'Performance rights on all selections: BMI. Matrix runout : Side A 30681 RS-6261 A 1G Side B 30682 RS-6261 B 1J thus VARIANT 2. Record plays fine.
