ELECTRIC LADYLAND - THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE
Polydor Records 2657 012 deluxe double
This is an early Polydor pressing of the classic double album. The first release was on the Track label in 1968.
The outer cover is in excellent condition. There is a name (mine) stamped INSIDE each sleeve, invisible to the casual observer.
The vinyl albums are also in very good condition and the labels are without any noticeable marks. Record One has sides A and D; with record Two being sides B and C. Despite what some people think, this was normal. It is called "automatic coupling" and allows those who had automatic record decks to stack the two records so that they played sides A and B, then "turn over" to play C and D!! Simple really, and goes back to the time of 78 rpm discs when nearly all classical pieces were designed this way. Now, "not a lot of people know that" - but my age gives it away. I do NOT believe in people thinking that they are getting a rare mis-pressing when it is standard for this release. (Why is anyone's guess, but it was just one of those things. A few double albums from the 1960s were done this way. Many others - such as "The Beatles" were not.)
Now that you have read this, and are mightily impressed, please BID!!!
This is your chance to buy one of the greatest albums by one of the best rock guitarists ever!! (He was left-handed - but then so was Kurt Cobain and so is Paul McCartney and he has done quite well, so don't hold that against him!)
