ORIGINAL 1968 UK PRESSING 2LP, TRACK 613 008/009
Original UK pressing on black Track label and inverted matrix numbers on label.
More details as I assume you all will want to know that:
- The first record (613008) contains Side A and Side D (later pressings contain side A and B on the first record). The second record (613009) contains Side B and Side C (later pressings contain Side C and D on the second record)
- One original inner sleeve with in blue letter "plastic bags can be dangerous"
- Inner gatefold sleeve contains "Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London, W.11
- High-dynamics stereo sound, audiophile, unbelievable spacious mix and that in NEAR MINT condition, STUNNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- The sleeve is in absolutely gorgeous condition, the laminated sleeve (laminated outside and inside) is absolutely glossy and in near perfect condition, slight wear around the edges, really fantastic
- Matrixes are 613008 A//1, 613008 B//1, 613009 A//1, 613009 B//1.
- THICK, HEAVY VINYL PRESSING
- Orig matt black Track labels
The single most important difference between the first and later Track/Polydor pressings is the catalogue number on the label: On the left side of the center hole, the catalogue number is repeated above the bold silver print in small printing, inverted in a bracket, i.e. upside down. In other words it can be read regardless of which way up you see the record. Those bracketed catalogue numbers end with a capital "A" or "B" per side, on both record's labels this is only found on the very first pressing. This copy has the inverted catalog labels!!! (see detailed scan of label on Side A)
