Description
Jimi Hendrix: "A Portrait Of Jimi Hendrix" (2 LP) 1971, USA/No label, matrixes 16668/12888/1668/95. Discs are both VG with some surface scuffs and marks, playback is a bit noisy but these records are quite crudely pressed so they wouldn't sound perfect even if they were mint visually. Gatefold cover has some soiling and the seams are cracking in a few spots, this gets a VG grade as well. Inner gatefold is blank. RARE early headshop LP contains the April 1970 Los Angeles Forum show. "Spanish Castle Magic", "Foxy Lady", "Purple Haze", "Machine Gun", "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", etc. No label name is listed, but it has the look of an early Rubber Dubber issue.
Everything I offer is guaranteed. I try to note any flaws with the disc and the cover so that there are no surprises when the box arrives. Be sure to view my other auctions as I have more stuff like this up for grabs this week.
I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.
