Timothy Leary was a main exponent for the use of LSD and other 'natural' drugs, believing the safe control of the tripper was important to opening their mind's doors to another inner world.
He did manage to recruit many 'heads' of the 1960's music scene, and toured with them administering 'chemical enhancements'.
On this well-documented album, he had JIMI HENDRIX adding background guitarwork almost throughout - as a backdrop to his hypnotic lecturing and suggestions! Jimi, as usual, does a very good job of keeping a rhythm suiting the needs, here - and now it's a revered rarity among HENDRIX collectors who seek to own these ORIGINAL pressings.
