Description
Absolutely mint never played white colored (coloured) vinyl 45. Promotional use only not for sale. I worked for PolyGram in the 90s and received this glossy sleeved 45 at that time. I always liked the Jimmie’s Chicken Shack record but I never got a chance to see them live. Side A is high 3:48 seconds and side B is Bongjam live 3:45 seconds. I found this record in a box in my office recently and it has never been taken out of the sleeve. The 45 pictured is my personal copy. I thought this band had potential too bad they got caught up in the downsizing merging bloodletting that occurred when PolyGram was bought by Universal.
Jimmie's Chicken Shack is an American alternative rock band from Annapolis, Maryland. They emerged through MTV as one of the first post-grunge bands of the 1990s.
Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope[edit]
Singles from ...Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope were "High," "Dropping Anchor," "Blood," and "Another Day." "High" and "Dropping Anchor" both have music videos. The video for "High" was shown on MTV's 120 Minutes. Many of the songs that were included on PTSE were included on previous independent releases.
