Description
For Sale: 3 Jimmy Buffett LPS, all have the original inner liners and poster. They are as follows:
“A1A” DSD-50183 on ABC Records, 1974.
“Volcano” MCA-5102, 1979.
“You Had To Be There” AK 1008/2, ABC Records, 1978.
I will defer to Goldmine grading standards (easily found online) as not everyone agrees as to what constitutes a VG record versus a VG+ record.
I have bought and sold thousands of record albums and still go back and forth on grading. I tend to be pretty conservative so in my opinion the vinyl, generally pretty glossy on all of the records, is leaning more towards VG+ while the covers and inserts are leaning more towards VG. The biggest exception is the poster which is like new.
I have listened to all the albums, both sides, and found occasional light noise, ticks, pops, etc. where they usually occur, at the beginning and generally due to careless handling. No problems other than that. There is some occasional light noise during some passages but nothing bad. Generally a good listening experience.
The covers and inserts show typical signs of wear and handling but nothing that would be a deal breaker for me. In comparison, the double album cover shows more wear than the other two. Just keep in mind that these are used records, are around 45 years old, and have been listened to many times, and you won’t be disappointed.
These have been properly stored in a clean, non-smoking home. Albums will be shipped in an LP mailer via Media Mail to lower 48 states.
Feel free to ask questions and thanks for looking.
