Description

Offered here are what appear to be the two 1/4-inch master reels sent to the pressing plant for the LP "Memorial to the Unforgettable Jimmy Donley" released on Tear Drop records by Huey Meaux in 1963 or '64. These reels come from the archive of the late Galyn Shelby who worked closely with Meaux as a recording engineer and A&R rep. A wonderful artifact from a singularly talented, tragic artist!

Note: A CD transfer of the complete contents of both reels will be included.
