Description
The records that I offer for sale have been critically play-graded, at loud volume, on a Rega Planar 3 turntable fitted with an Elys cartridge. I will only sell records that play to a high standard. Any significant playing defects will be detailed in the description below. I know how disappointing it is to receive a record graded as excellent, only to find that listening pleasure is spoiled by endless pops, loud clicks and intrusive background crackle. I guarantee that you will not buy such a record from me!!
The winning bidder can expect to receive a clean record, carefully packaged, with the vinyl removed from the inner and outer sleeves to prevent splits in transit.
Here for auction is a superb example of the iconic album by JIMMY HENDRIX titled “ELECTRIC LADYLAND”, Catalogue Number 613008/9. This is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK STEREO FIRST PRESSING on the TRACK RECORD LABEL.
The Matrix Numbers are:
Side A - 61300(8 crossed out)8 A//1
Side D - 613008 B inverted triangle 2 420
Side B - 613009 A inverted triangle 2 420
Side C - 613009 B//2 420
The first press laminated gatefold sleeve, printed in London by Ernest J Day & Co. Ltd., is in VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION. The text inside the opening gatefold is white. The front and back covers, and the opening gatefold are undamaged and show only a few light laminate creases. The top and bottom edges show hardly any signs of wear. The opening edges are a little wavy but have no significant damage. The corners show only light rubbing. The spine is in EXCELLENT SHAPE. There are no rips, stickers or writing. A significantly better sleeve may prove difficult to find!!
Both SOLIDLY PRESSED records retain much of their ORIGINAL LUSTRE. Sides A, C and D are visually in EXCELLENT CONDITION with just a few very light surface marks which do not affect play in any way. Side B, I would grade as VG+, due to a short surface scuff at the end of Track 3, which sounds as a light click for a few revolutions .The BEAUTIFUL MATT BLACK AND SILVER TRACK LABELS show only light spindle marking and are otherwise unmarked.
PLAYGRADE ASSESSMENT:
All 4 sides play SUPERBLY with ALL FREQUENCIES CRYSTAL CLEAR. This is a particularly vibrant recording which SOUNDS SENSATIONAL played at high volume!! There are NO jumps or loud pops, and barely any unwanted noise to spoil the listening experience.
Complete with the ORIGINAL POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVES which have each had one split edge repaired.
DON’T MISS THIS ONE!!!

If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost or damaged, you will not get a refund. I can’t make it any clearer than that!
