Original 45 on Wonder Records, US Pressing.
Jimmy Johnson on the Wonder Records label doing The Other Side of the Fence / Queen Bee (Woman). This west coast LA release has not seen the light of day until now. I can find no mention of this record or the Wonder label on the Internet. This is undoubtedly the same Jimmy Johnson who recorded on the Magnum label. The B side (The Other Side of the Fence also features a female vocalist named Vickie (addressed by Johnson in the vocals). Who is Vickie? The brass section on this side moves in the most bluesy and hypnotic fashion. The A side of the record (Queen Bee) is a blues number.
