Description

Two more nice sides by Jimmy (note the label spelling of his first name compared to the Elko I also have on offer!).  'Hurts' is slow and bluesy -it's the same number Elmore cut written by Mel London (?) although credited to Nolen on this label -or maybe Nolen wrote it? Fine tough guitar solo. 'How fine..' is uptempo with hammered piano, saxes, and more solo guitar. Top notch. These always sound great on 78. Los Angeles, 1956.
