HISTORY:

Jimmy Page originally composed the Lucifer Rising soundtrack for underground filmmaker Kenneth Anger during the height of Led Zeppelin’s career. Although Page’s soundtrack was ultimately not used as the complete score for the finished film, the mysterious recording developed a legendary underground reputation and circulated unofficially among collectors for decades.

This authorized edition was released through Jimmy Page’s official website on March 20, 2012—the Spring Equinox. It presents the historic Lucifer Rising material alongside additional experimental soundtrack recordings composed and produced by Jimmy Page.
