Description
From the title "A New Star - A new Sound Vol.1" I assumed that this was Jimmy Smith's first release and features some beautiful guitar licks from Thornel Schwartz. Record is a strong VG with a few notable ticks on side 2, side 1 ok. Music comes through loud and clear. Cover VG with 4" seam splits top and bottom, former owner name on back. Label indicates pressing circa 1958-1959. Thick heavy vinyl with "RVG" hand inscribed in dead wax.
