BRISTOLS No.1 RARE RECORD SHOP *Item for sale* JIMMY SMITH ~ House Party ~SIGNED MONO US 1959 Blue Note DEEP GROOVE RVG Ear
Here's a rare thing, a signed original Blue Note BLP 4002 Jimmy Smith "House Party".
47 West 63rd cover and label addresses, no "R" by the note on the labels, stamped RVG
and "Ear" logos in the dead wax, deep grooved labels.
The front cover is generally clean, a couple of light scratch marks and some wear to the
corners. The rear cover has picked up a little light soiling but again is generally clean, the
signature is clear as is all the text. The spines are all clean, with hardly any wear other
than the corners, which I've pictured in detail.
The labels are clean, you can make out a few spindle marks, otherwise free of wear. The
vinyl itself has the odd very light hairline and a few scuff marks, all of which are very light.
Playback isn't mint, nor is it overly noisy, you can hear some background occasionally,
but it's still a bright crisp sound with nothing that overly distracts from the music.
