This is Woods’ last recording session and it was recorded on March 25 &26, 1963 in Los Angeles, featuring Jimmy Woods on alto, Carmell Jones on trumpet, Harold Land on tenor, Andrew Hill on piano, George Tucker on bass and Elvin Jones on drums. I’ve rated the LP as M- and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. There are no marks of any kind on either side of the vinyl. There is no sign on wear in the spindle hole. There are a couple of marks around the spindle hole, but not enough to drop the rating. The record jacket is in excellent condition with very little sign of wear. The only sign is on the front cover, as there is some very slight wear where the record lay in the jacket. By this time, Contemporary Records were getting a bit sloppy, compared to the mid to late 1950s on the quality of their record jacket.
