Description
Artist: J.J. BARNES & STEVE MANCHA
Title: “Rare Stamps”
Label: VOLT, Catalog number is VOS-6001. Promo copy. Stereo pressing. Label is blue with black text. Stereo pressing, pressed on medium thick vinyl, does not have deep groove.
Year: 1969.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is nice VG+ to VG++ with nearly 100% of original gloss, plays closer to VG++. Has several minor scuffs, but no serious marks or problems. Fidelity is awesome in true stereo as you can hear in the accompanying sound clips.
JACKET: Nice VG+ with a couple minor flaws but no serious problems. Corners show wear at tips and are bumped. Seams are excellent. A bit of ring wear is beginning to show in a couple places on the white surfaces, more noticeably on reverse. Reverse is stamped “Demonstration – Not For Sale” and there is writing on the front of the jacket (“soul” and “V-11”) from when the album was part of a radio station library. Overall a very presentable jacket for this rare jacket featuring a pair of northern soul legends.
