J.J. CALE Naturally (Shelter ISA 5003) RARE 1976 UK 2nd Pressing MINT-
RARE UK pressing of J.J. Cale`s debut album "Naturally" on Shelter Records (January 1972). Originally released in the UK on A&M Records, this is a second UK pressing on Leon Russell`s Shelter label (1976).
"What is it about JJ Cale’s playing? I mean, you could say Eric Clapton’s the guitar god, but... he can't play like JJ. JJ’s the one who played all that shit first...And he doesn’t play very loud, either — I really like that about him. He’s so sensitive. Of all the players I ever heard, it’s gotta be Hendrix and JJ Cale who are the best electric guitar players. JJ’s my peer, but he doesn’t have the business acumen — he doesn’t have the idea of how to deal with the rest of the world that I do. But musically, he’s actually more than my peer, because he’s got that thing. I don’t know what it is." - Neil Young in "Shakey" (2002).
GRADING:

MINT- COVER. Original unlaminated sleeve in pristine condition. Please see photos for details.
- The back cover states: "Sleeve printed and made by MacNeill Press Ltd., London, SE1" (at bottom right).
- Minor record imprint, front and back.

MINT- RECORD that looks practically unplayed.
- Near-perfect vinyl on both sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- The record was bought new and comes from my personal collection. It has not been played more than once or twice. 
- A single, superficial paper scuff (not a scratch!) on Side Two is absolutely inaudible.
- Two-tone Shelter Records labels ("Manufactured and distributed by Island Records Limited") with a single tiny spindle line.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "ISA 5003 - A2" and "ISA 5003 - B2".
- This record is certified to be a UK second pressing of "Naturally", released in 1976.
PLEASE NOTE: Not to be compared with the more-often-than-not substandard vinyl on offer on eBay, this item is in honestly-graded MINT- condition.
