Japanese avant-garde composer Jo Kondo’s work is often structured mathematically much like Xenakis. His interest lies in the differences in instrumental timbres. Four works are offered on this scarce Japanese ALM recording. “Mr. Bloomfield, His Spacing”, for cello, viola & violin, “Sight Rhythmics” for piano, “Summer Days” for clarinet & tape and “Walk” for flute & piano. Kondo’s recordings for ALM are very uncommon. Don’t miss out!
Record is in NM+ condition (appears unplayed) & jacket is NM.
