Up for auction is a rare promo copy of the self-titled debut album Jobriath, originally released in the U.S. on Elektra Records (EKS 75070) in 1973:
-Guaranteed original first pressing -STERLING mastering stamp in deadwax -RL Robert Ludwig mastering symbol in deadwax -White label promotional copy -Promo hype sticker on front cover -Original gatefold cover -Original Elektra inner sleeve -No UPC/bar code on cover
Condition: Cover is very nice, still very colorful and attractive. Light rubbing to a couple seams, but no seam splits. Light creases on lower spine edge. Factory promo punch hole upper right corner. Light rub bottom middle. Interior is clean and bright. Very nicely preserved original. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies
Vinyl is also very nice, still has its original shine. No apparent scratches, just some faint superficial paper scuffs from taking record out of inner sleeve a few times, and a couple very tiny marks that do not affect the quality of playback. Labels are clean, unmarked. Looks like it's been played maybe a couple times but handled with care. Grade: Excellent (EX)
