UK heavy blues rock beast from 1971. Pretty vicious at times, with wild loud screaming lead guitar. What has never been disclosed is that this obscure and excellent album by Jodo features the vocals of Earl Jordan, aka 'Jordan', who was the only participant who used his real name as the vocalist on the legendary Green Bullfrog album featuring Ritchie Blackmore. The Jodo 'Guts' album was released at about the same time as Green Bullfrog in the US, on the same label, Decca. 'Guts' is an album worth having if you're into 70s riff rock ala Leafhound, etc. Jordan sounds as if he is black, and sings not unlike Mike Harrison of Spooky Tooth.
