1st Pressing Matrix Numbers
Cover: MacNeill Press Ltd 1st pressing non-gatefold cover. Laminated front & unlaminated rear. No writings, doodles, seam splits or missing pieces. Some minor laminate creasing/ege wear and light ringwear to rear. VG+ condition - see photos.
Labels: Excellent. No writings, doodles or stickers. Slight scuff on Side 2.
Vinyl: Play tested. Thick heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl. Side 1 looks 'Good' with some visible marks/scratches and Side 2 looks VG. Plays better than it looks. Plays mostly VG to VG+ with no skips/jumps. There is some crackle at the beginning on the run-ins, between tracks and in the quieter moments. Also has the odd pop/click but still remains very listenable. Would benefit from a light clean to bring up to its best - not played for many years before play-testing. Also, a couple of plays will help clear the grooves of any static dust that might have accumulated over the years.
Jody Grind were an excellent power trio. This is one of the records from the prog era that realy stands the test of time - great guitar work, top quality vocals and some well-structured tunes. In my view, you could release it today and it would be better than most contemporary bands. Even if you do not want this vinyl record, get hold of the CD and have a listen.

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and light scratches
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
