Description
This is an original U.S. Fania Records 45 RPM record dating from 1967 containing the Latin boogaloo tunes titled 'Gypsy Woman'/'So Fine' from Latin soul / boogaloo pioneer Joe Bataan, his very first record for Fania. It is Fania Records catalog number 447, and appears to be a RARE ITEM which has not been listed on eBay either at auction or at fixed price sale during the past month as far as I can tell. Condition of this record is a high VG with a small to moderate amount of light surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play, and three or four small and light surface scratches which can be felt and which may cause some light ticks, no skips. Record also has a slight warp near its outer edge which will necessitate using a slightly heavier tone arm for play, record will play fine with anything but a very lightweight tone arm. A-side label has a little writing in black marker as can be seen in the accompanying image; both labels have a fair amount of contact wear. This 45 would be a rare addition to any danceable Latin music 45 record collection!
