Description

This auction is for a 2 disc, 3 sided acetate lp of Joe Farrell, jazz saxophonist. As far as i can gather, these are his earliest studio recordings. They seem to date from the early 60s

They feature songs that i believe have never been released. One disc is labeled side 1 and side 2, the second disc is labeled side 3, and one side blank.

There is a good amount of wear to the discs. Lots of scuffs, scratches and fingerprints. And there is label wear as you can see in the photos. Hopefully the pics show the visible flaws.

i have not attempted to play these so i'm not certain of the sound quality.

Thanks for checking this out. this is a must for any jazz fan, or collector of jazz acetates.

You will not find this elsewhere.

Just to clarify, i believe these are metal acetates as they are quite heavy.
