Description

This has to be the most razor sharp of the  ska/rocksteady crossover tunes. Loved by switched on mods and the coolest of skinheads alike, this has always been a dancefloor packer. Great hammond solo too. One of Joe Higgs' best.

TO GERMAN AND AUSTRIAN BIDDERS and TO THOSE AMONG YOU WHO ARE  RELATIVELY NEW TO JAMAICAN MANUFACTURED VINYL, PLEASE TAKE NOTE -

This is an original Jamaican pressing so whilst the vinyl gives the illusion of a glossy,clean appearance, there is some harmless and inoffensive 'manufactured'  background crackle thoughout the record. This is due to the lack of  maintainance  of printing plates (which was common in Jamaica) and NOT  the wear and tear of the record. Despite that, IT'S NOT so bad that you'd want to skank on top your next door neighbour's cat or throw your Brogues  out of the pram.

The sound is still very strong with NO JUMPS, SKIPS OR HISS.

As the label and vinyl still has a very clean appearance, I shall grade this as an EX  accordingly.
