PLEASE NOTE THIS SOUGHT AFTER LP IS NOT NEARLY AS GOOD AS VOL 1~PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY~PLEASE READ BELOW.
OVERALL CONDITION
SLEEVE~VG++
(Complete with perfect spine and no tears but some very very light ringwear, etc~see scans)
VINYL~~looks towards VG+ in bright light.
Side 1 starts with a noisy run~in groove and some surface noise and audible light crackles~But never any sound distortion. Then after about 5 minutes 5 audible pops and then starts to sound better but still with some surface noise and intermittent crackles~after about 10 minutes 3 pops/clicks and then some further intermittent surface noise/ticks etc till the end of side 1.
SIDE 1 is a long way from perfect but still plays WITHOUT SKIPS or REPEATS OR DISTORTION on my system~

Side 2 is MUCH BETTER~there is still some surface noise at the start and a few audible clicks (4 at about a minute in) and the 3 minor clicks towards the end then 6 minor clicks further on but would probably be graded overall as VG+ in listening terms and just as side 1, plays WITHOUT SKIPS REPEATS or DISTORTION on my player and even with imperfections I am sure Side 2 will send a chill down your spine~the playing is stunning.
Side 2 although not perfect is much, much better than side 1.
PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY~~PROFESSIONAL CLEANING MACHINE MIGHT HELP (ESPECIALLY ON SIDE 2) BUT I DOUBT IF IT WILL COMPLETELY TRANSFORM SIDE 1 THE RECORD IN TO A PERFECT LP!
GRADING : I grade records firstly visually and sample aurally for overall sound quality. Should you feel I have misgraded please remember that I offer a full NO QUIBBLE refund or agreed price reduction if I am off the mark.
NEAR EXCELLENT (EX- or EX+)~~careful visual inspection audio sampling has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the LP should sound superb and it will be hard to find a better copy. Sleeve and any inserts/inners are in excellent shape. You will not be disappointed.
VG++ ~~you will not be disappointed with this LP~may have some light surface hairlines under bright light but will sound true without distortion or any major flaw. Sleeve will be in good order.
VG+~~ audio listening has revealed perhaps some limited surface noise (especially at run~in groove and towards start of each side and the run~out groove) or the odd bit of surface noise here and there. Visually the Lp may have light scuffs/spindles but NOTHING MAJOR though has obviously been played a few times. There should be no skips or repeats and the LP will play without distortion.
Sleeve might have light creases or minor ringwear or spine wear but nothing too serious.
Overall the Lp and sleeve are still quite acceptable and a better copy may never come along!
STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE AND STILL A VERY ACCEPTABLE SOUND.
A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING MACHINE MIGHT ENHANCE THE AUDIO QUALITY.
