UK Columbia original press 33CX 1372.
The legendary Johanna Martzy performs Schubert's Rondeau and Fantaisie accompanied by Jean Antonietti.
Magnificent iconic recording which turns up very rarely nowadays.
Visually the vinyl grades as a very strong VG+ with some visible surface marks under light.
Audio grades as VG+ to EX- with overall a lovely clear sound but with the inevitable pops and crackles in some places.
In my opinion there is no such thing as a "Mint" or "NM" audio grade for this lp. There is some inherent distortion in the recording noticeable on the
first half of side 2 particularly if played with a stereo cartridge and I have yet to hear a copy without this.
The cover grades as VG front with creasing and ringwear and VG+ for back.
Original inner is VG+ and labels are EX.
