Superlative performance of the Violin Concerto opus 64 by Mendelssohn. Johanna Martzy, violin with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Paul Kletzki. Also on this LP the two Romances by Beethoven for violin and orchestra. Dutch Columbia pressing 33CX 1497. The music on this LP sounds undistorted without any congestion. However the vinyl has scuffs and some audible scratches. Grading of vinyl: VG. The performances are certainly enjoyable and play in general with little background noise. The jacket has a tear at the right underside which is easy to repair but is further in a VG++/EX- condition. The spine is not damaged. Payment: cash, bank or paypal.
