JOHN & BEVERLEY MARTYN - STORMBRINGER
Original UK issue on 1970 pink 'i' Island label ILPS 9113. Produced by Joe Boyd for Witchseason Productions. A2/B2 matrix. A very nice example of this increasingly rare original issue.
VINYL = EXCELLENT ... (clean bright playing surfaces with minimal hairlines, plays extremely well, a little background micro noise in few places, nothing serious at all. Some light traces of spindle travel).
COVER = VERY GOOD++...( solid, very minor storage/edge wear, two tiny nicks on opening edge. )
INNER SLEEVE = VERY GOOD+ (very light wear and some discolouration. No splits )

** GRADING GUIDE **
EXCELLENT = The vinyl shows some signs of having been played despite being well cared for and there will be very little deterioration in sound quality. Visually there may be 1-2 very light surfaces marks/hairlines which will be purely cosmetic and should not be significantly audible on playback. There may be a little very faint background noise in parts but nothing obtrusive and only what you might expect from an aged used vinyl record. The cover, inner sleeve and insert/poster might have slight wear and/or creasing but no tears or repairs. A subjective + or - may be applied depending on overall condition.
VERY GOOD = The vinyl has been played many times but there is no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and light scratches. Some occasional background noise/light crackle may be audible in parts of the record (intros) but there will be no significant clicks, no groovewear, no skips etc. The cover, inner sleeve and insert/poster may have moderate wear (e.g. cover edge wear, pin holes in poster, stain on lyric insert) but no rips or tears unless stated. A subjective + or - may be applied depending on overall condition.
GOOD = The vinyl has had considerable use which is reflected in the sound quality which has noticeable deterioration e.g. audible scratches, mild distortion. The record will not skip or jump. The cover and contents may suffer from scuffing , discoloration, edge splits, small corner/edge tears and possibly repairs. The item description will state any faults.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE A FASTIDIOUS, OVER-PARTICULAR RECORD COLLECTOR THEN PLEASE ONLY BUY MINT or EX++ GRADED VINYL AT ALL TIMES TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT WHEN BUYING ANYTHING GRADED ANY LOWER.
