Description

JOHN CAGE -  3-LP Box Set -  "The 25-Year Retrospective Concert of ..." (GEORGE AVAKIAN, KOBY 1499-1504, 1959, USA)  in VG++ / NM condition.

Description:

Here's a fabulous copy of the privately released  3-LP Box Set entitled "The 25-Year Retrospective Concert of the Music of John Cage", recorded at Town Hall, NYC, and pressed for George Akavian, circa 1959.

This set comes with a booklet containing fullsize reprints of several Cage scores and diagrams as well as photos by Robert Rauschenberg who, along with Jasper Johns, produced the concert.  These and the records are housed in a custom cloth and pressboard box.

Please Note:  This is an original, vintage copy of this LP.

We do not sell current re-issues of any kind!

Condition:

Box:    VG++  (evident foxing on front; complete title written lightly in ink pen on the spine; otherwise close to NM with solid corners and back).  EXCELLENT!

Record:  NM (LPs appear to have been played only once or twice at most).

Labels:   NM

PLEASE NOTE:  Shipping for this item will be expensive, epecially overseas, as the total shipping weight for this package will approach 2.5 pounds.  Please bid accordingly.

Payment / Shipping ( MUST READ BEFORE BIDDING):

I am now using calculated PRIORITY shipping rates (for USA locations) based on zip code, and do not charge handling fees.  Overseas rate for this very heavy item will be a flat $25.00 for standard 1st Class airmail.  $2.00 per each additional LP will be added automatically for all combined purchases regardless of location.

Insurance, tracking and package registration are optional  (I will not be held responsible for uninsured packages).

Overseas winners must pay by PAYPAL only (unless cleared with me during auction).

All items must be paid for within 10 days of the auction close date  -  absolutely no exceptions.
