Description
Here we have a near pristine condition copy of Fear by the Welsh Wizard of the Velvet Underground, John Cale. This album was released on the Island label in Britain back in 1974 and this is a beautiful example of the pink rimmed label design which took over from the famous pink label with its icon letter i. It seems to be a first pressing as the dead wax matrices read A-1U and B-1U. I've had this album for many years as part of a huge collection I bought in one go and have only just got around to playing it finding that it wasn't my scene. The cover and vinyl are both damn near as new as is the creaseless pale blue Island innersleeve. You would be hard pushed to find a better copy of this album anywhere, come and have a look.
