Monumental early avant garde recordings from John Cale, original bassist of the Velvet Underground! Intense guitar/organ/viola drones dating back from pre-Velvets early 1960s to 1969. Legendary minimalist avant garde violist Tony Conrad as well as Sterling Morrison (VU Guitarist) and Angus Maclise (original VU percussionist) are featured on several pieces.
